1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Sci Bank, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you use Sci Bank on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Sci Bank provides a research-oriented AI workspace, links to scientific charting and image editing resources, AI model gateway access, support channels, and related productivity services. Features may change, pause, or be removed as providers, infrastructure, and product priorities change.
We aim to provide stable access, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific model behavior, permanent access to any third-party service, or that generated outputs will be accurate, complete, original, or suitable for a particular purpose.
3. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not share access in a way that violates your plan, third-party provider terms, or applicable law.
We may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, security risk, non-payment, excessive automated traffic, violation of these terms, or activity that may disrupt Sci Bank or third-party services.
4. Plans, Payments, and Refunds
Paid access, if offered, may be billed according to the plan, duration, usage limits, or service scope communicated at purchase. Taxes, payment processor fees, currency conversion, and third-party charges may apply.
Unless a separate written policy or purchase agreement says otherwise, fees are not automatically refundable after service access has been delivered. If you experience a material service issue, contact us and we will review the case in good faith.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Sci Bank to violate laws, infringe rights, attack systems, bypass access controls, scrape or resell service access, distribute malware, generate harmful instructions, impersonate others, or process data you do not have rights to use.
You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them. For academic, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or regulated work, verify outputs with qualified professionals, source materials, and applicable rules.
6. User Content and Outputs
You retain rights you already have in prompts, files, data, and other content you submit. You grant Sci Bank and relevant service providers permission to process that content as needed to provide the requested service, maintain security, troubleshoot, and enforce these terms.
AI-generated outputs may be similar to outputs generated for other users and may contain errors. You are responsible for evaluating originality, citation needs, licensing, publication suitability, and compliance with institutional or journal policies.
7. Third-Party Services
Sci Bank may link to or rely on third-party AI models, external tools, payment processors, hosting providers, and communication channels. Your use of those services may be subject to additional terms, privacy policies, limits, and availability decisions outside our control.
We are not responsible for third-party content, policy changes, outages, model restrictions, pricing changes, or account actions taken by third-party providers.
8. Sci Bank Materials
The Sci Bank name, website design, text, graphics, logos, workflows, and other platform materials are owned by Sci Bank or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or use them commercially except as allowed by us in writing.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Sci Bank is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sci Bank will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, research delays, publication consequences, or third-party service failures.
10. Termination
You may stop using Sci Bank at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security or operational risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that may harm Sci Bank, other users, or providers.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
